Our Connection Center volunteers are the front line of our work. The Connection Center, or Call Center, is open Monday - Friday 9am-5pm. Volunteers take calls from clients. They receive the requests for help, screen them, verify that the needs and client information are genuine, and refer these requests to a partner church ministry, volunteer, or community agency. The follow up to ensure the need was met, to offer spiritual support, and to continue building the relationship.
Our Gap Ministries provide a resource or service to meet ongoing needs that are not currently being met by other agencies, organizations or other entities. The Connection Center identifies gaps in services and resources in the community by obtaining current and relevant information on the unmet needs of real people and Love INC helps partner churches develop ministries to “fill the gaps.”
Love INC offers free Community Courses to the general public on practical and relevant topics. The 1-2 hour weekly classes are 4-12 weeks long in a rotating schedule. Training includes teaching, personal application, and mentoring. Requirements include timely weekly attendance with completed homework assignments. Attendees can enroll as clients and receive incentives to help reach their goals.
